SPIRITUAL HEALTH PROMOTION

 SPIRITUAL HEALTH (THAZKIYATUN NAFS/ IBAADAH):

▪Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. (WHO, 1948)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم مَّوۡعِظَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَشِفَآءٞ لِّمَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ.
O men, there has come to you
▪an advice from your Lord, and
▪a cure for the ailments of your hearts, and
▪guidance and mercy for the believers. (Al quran: 10:57)

"மனிதர்களே! நிச்சயமாக உங்கள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து நல்லுபதேசமும் உங்கள் உள்ளங்களிலுள்ள நோய்களை குணப்படுத்தக் கூடியதும், நம்பிக்கைக் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டியும், இறை அருளும் வந்துள்ளன." (அல்-குர்ஆன்: 10:57)

وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تِبۡيَٰنٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ.
We have revealed to you the Book,
▪an exposition of everything, and
▪guidance, and mercy, and
▪glad tidings for the Muslims. (Al quran: 16:89)

SPIRITUAL HEALTH PROMOTION (DHA'WAT - TABLEEGH):

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ○ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ○ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ.
▪(I swear) by the Time,
▪man is in a state of loss indeed,
▪except those who believed and
▪did righteous deeds, and
▪exhorted each other to follow truth, and
▪exhorted each other to observe patience. (Al quran: 103:1-3)

وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ قَوۡلٗا مِّمَّن دَعَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Who can be better in words than the one
▪who calls towards Allah, and
▪acts righteously and
▪says, “I am one of those who submit themselves (to Allah)”? (Al quran: 41:33)
